Yurika, an Energy Queensland owned business, delivers Solar, Wind, and BESS projects. This role is within the Energy Queensland Business Services Team, managing Cost Control, Financial Reporting, and Forecasting. Reporting to the Finance Manager - Yurika, this position will oversee a team of 7 cost professionals responsible for accurate and timely reporting of project performance, supporting Project Managers in trend analysis and risk identification.The role involves extensive stakeholder engagement across EQL and Yurika, gathering reports from Project Directors, Managers, and the Project Management Office, and collaborating with the EQL commercial leadership. Strong reporting skills and proven leadership are essential for success.About you:In addition to your degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or relevant experience, you have a proven track record in leading cost control teams in dynamic environments. You also possess:Experience managing teams of 5+ staff, mentoring and developing team members.Solid understanding of Engineering Projects, supporting multimillion-dollar EPC projects through execution phases.Ability to work within complex organizational structures with excellent stakeholder management skills.Experience delivering improvements in safety, performance, quality, cost, and time.Strong project/cost control knowledge with the ability to deliver timely reports and critical information.Significant experience in financial modeling.Strong commercial acumen, including project strategy, forecasting, performance reporting, finance management, and risk management.Excel and Power BI skills for financial reporting are advantageous.Our values are: We’re Safe – We Belong – We Grow – We Deliver.
