About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lawyer to join our Wills and Estates Team. This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Melbourne office with a hybrid flex working model.
Reporting to the Victorian Estate Litigation Leader and supported by a broader team, you will have involvement in:
* Conducting initial client conferences
* Day to day management of files
* Preparing briefs to counsel
* Instruct counsel at mediations and Supreme Court Hearings
* Support the team Leader on all matter management and the achievement of financial and non-financial KPI's
* Market our products and services to new and existing referrers
* Support and coach the support team
* Regular domestic travel to meet clients
The experience we are looking for
* Ideally you will have 2+ years PAE within a Litigation environment
* Excellent technical skills and focus
* Strong client and relationship building skills
* Strong client service focus and a passion for helping people
* Excellent organisation skills and an ability to multi-task
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to provide leadership and guidance to the wider team
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
