About the role
If you are looking for a supportive environment where you can learn and grow your accounting skills across a diverse range of business areas, this is the role for you. As part of the larger Financial Accounting Team, you will use your people management skills to supervise a small team of finance officers to deliver Council's assets accounting and treasury functions.
Clarence Valley Council provides a wide range of services and businesses which provides an ideal growth opportunity for your accounting career to develop. Membership or enrolment in studies to become a CPA/CA is encouraged and supported by Council.
To be considered for this position you will need to:

This position is located at Council's Grafton office, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
