About the Head of Brand and Marketing role and about you
We have an opportunity to join our People and Communications team as the Head of Brand and Marketing.
The Head of Brand and Marketing leads SGCH’s strategic voice, ensuring we communicate with clarity, confidence, and purpose. This role manages the Brand and Marketing team and is central to delivering the FY26 Brand and Marketing Strategy, positioning SGCH as a trusted, influential voice in housing and community impact. The role works closely with the Executive Leadership Team and manages all aspects of communications, branding and stakeholder engagement.
To succeed in this role, you will be a confident storyteller, passionate about driving stakeholder engagement, brand visibility, employee engagement, digital accessibility, and able to make a measurable impact through strategic campaigns and events.
This is a permanent, full‑time position based at our Redfern office and requires travel to other SGCH office locations including Liverpool, St Leonards and Bonnyrigg as required.

- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing and/or equivalent experience.
- Substantial senior leadership experience in brand, marketing, and strategic communications, with expertise in stakeholder engagement, storytelling and a strong understanding of brand strategy, creative direction, and integrated campaigns.
- Demonstrated experience in research, issues management, producing high‑quality publications, and event management, paired with excellent influencing, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of change management, and proven ability to lead business transformation and uplift organisational capability.
