Graduate Enrolled Nurse – Transition to Practice
12-month Fixed Term / Part-Time Contract (64 hours per fortnight)
Role Description
The Graduate Enrolled Nurse (EN) – Transition to Practice (TTP) program, is a structured 12-month course helping new EN's bridge from study to professional practice, offering supervised rotations (Acute, Aged Care), dedicated education, mentorship, and support to develop skills, confidence, and accountability within the EN scope of practice, adhering to AHPRA standards and organisational values for de4livering patient-centred care.
About you
To be successful in this role you must have the following qualities:
* Current registration as an EN with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered through the:
* Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Sound knowledge and skill in relation to nursing care and the clinical environment appropriate to the position
* Demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal and professional development, and the ability to accept constructive feedback and appropriate direction
* Commitment to completing all requirements of the EN TTP program
* Commitment to working as part of a team and the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
* Ability to set goals and objectives and meet deadlines as required
* Good working knowledge of current nursing issues and trends
* Satisfactory evidence of; NDIS, Working with Children's and Vaccination status in accordance with HH policy and procedure
