The Opportunity
Brightwater is seeking an experienced Senior Nurse with strong leadership capability to join our team as the Clinical Nurse Manager at our flagship site, Brightwater Inglewood.
Situated within Brightwater Central, our community campus that includes the organisation's head office and the world‑class Brightwater Research Centre, the Inglewood site is built on our long-standing expertise in delivering best‑practice residential aged care. Surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and overlooking parklands and a nearby golf course.
Brightwater Inglewood provides a welcoming home for 128 residents across eight individual houses over two levels.
As the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will work in close partnership with the Service Manager to maintain exceptional standards of clinical care, in alignment with the Aged Care Quality Standards and Brightwater's Clinical Governance Framework. You will lead, mentor, and support a dedicated team of health professionals, championing holistic, person‑centred care that reflects Brightwater's Mission and Values.
About You
We're looking for a passionate and skilled professional to bring their expertise to our newest facility. This permanent full‑time position is ideal for Clinical Nurses (or equivalent) with a minimum of three years' experience .
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Minimum three years' experience as a Clinical Nurse (preferably in a Residential Aged Care setting) and current AHPRA registration
* Strong clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and decision‑making skills
* Proven leadership ability and a proactive approach to mentoring and supporting others
* A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
* A solid understanding of clinical and quality audit processes, with a commitment to continuous improvement
* Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders
* Sound knowledge of the aged care sector and relevant standards
* Experience in recruitment and staff performance management and development
* Flexibility to work varied hours to meet client and family needs, including participation in an on‑call roster
* A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and key personnel checks
* A current National Police Clearance (issued within the last 12 months)
