Reporting directly to the Apprentice & Trade Coordinator, you will contribute to our Safe, Stable and Sustainable vision by:Identifying, prioritising and implementing training plans to support and build capabilities in both the mechanical and electrical trades teamsWorking with the RTO and Apprentices to ensure they are trained and assessed as competent to carry out their work within the desired timeframesEnsuring appropriate documentation, procedures and training materials are developed and used as a guide to support and train the apprentices throughout the programMonitoring logbook entries and training plan progression to ensure apprentice schedules are met for each stage of their qualificationEnsuring stakeholders on site are providing the appropriate training, mentoring and supervision to apprentices throughout rotations across the different work areasMentoring and providing guidance to apprenticesWhat you will bringTo be successfully considered for this role, you should have:A commitment to the safety of yourself and your teamMechanical Trade QualificationCertificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessing would be highly regarded or previous demonstrated experience in conducting group trainingExperience with SAP and MS software products would be advantageousStrong communication, interpersonal and organisational skillsWhere you will be workingLocated in central Queensland, Gladstone is a vibrant coastal town with a population of approximately 64,000.
