This is a unique opportunity. You will be instrumental in helping set up and develop the oncology service, ensuring all aspects of legislation and the National Safety and Quality Health Care Standards are met, and all relevant policies and procedures are in place.As the Nurse Unit Manager, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of managing the nursing team including resource management and you will also assist in the recruitment and selection of the very best medical oncology registered nurses to work in your centre.You will have advanced medical oncology skills, advanced nursing knowledge and proven leadership skills to ensure a positive engaged workforce. You will have an excellent understanding of current trends, research and policies in Oncology Nursing.
