About the opportunity
We are interested in candidates who demonstrate strong communication, time management, and administrative capabilities, and who can actively support team operations to enable effective emergency management, volunteer coordination, operational support, and community safety. Key duties include managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, databases and helping support volunteers. You’ll support meaningful projects with staff, volunteers and external stakeholders that combine research, intelligence, and strategic planning to strengthen resilience and preparedness. It is an exciting time to join the NSW SES in supporting key programs of work to enhance the agency’s capability and response to emergencies.

About you
To be successful in this role you will:
* be proficient in helping build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, internal and external;
* have strong communication skills and time management skills;
* have the ability to problem solve and work independently;
* have proven experience in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel) and practical computer/online literacy;
* have experience working with in a diverse team.
