Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Professional to lead strategic communications initiatives across major infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in stakeholder engagement, issues management, and crisis communications.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing, who can develop effective communication strategies and materials.
This role involves providing advice to project teams and senior leaders on media relations, community engagement, and risk assessment.
The selected candidate will have the ability to plan and manage key communication events, as well as provide training and support to project teams and consultants.
In this position, you will work closely with project teams to deliver strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, and issues management support.
You will be responsible for preparing high-quality communication materials, developing stakeholder management strategies, and coordinating community and stakeholder engagement activities.
We require the following skills and qualifications:
* Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or equivalent experience
* Experience managing difficult stakeholders and facilitating critical conversations
* Previous exposure to major infrastructure projects and confidence with social media channels
* IAP2 or equivalent training in community engagement
* Understanding of the infrastructure planning lifecycle
