**Records & Information Analyst**

We're seeking a proactive professional to lead best practice records keeping principles, ensuring compliance with NSW Government standards, and driving continuous improvement in our records systems.
**What the opportunity is**:
- Employment with Museums of History NSW
- Clerk Grade 7/8. Remuneration package includes salary ($113,574 - $125,720 full-time equivalent), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
- Ongoing part-time employment at 21 hours per week.
- The role will work across Sydney.

Museums of History NSW brings together a portfolio of iconic museums, rich collections and heritage sites, the nation's oldest archive collection, vital recordkeeping services and expert staff.
We bring history to life by sharing the stories of our places and collections. Through the State Archives Collection, we manage NSW's official documentary heritage, supporting government transparency and the public's right to access information.

Museums of History NSW is a state cultural institution, established under the Museums of History NSW Act 2022. It is an agency of the NSW Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport (DCITHS).
**What you'll do with us**:
This role will provide services for Museums of History NSW's recordkeeping program including Content Manager administration, technical support and training to staff at all levels, and assisting with records access and storage issues.

1.With reference to your capabilities and experience, how would you investigate and respond to potential unauthorised access to confidential and private information?
2.A large part of the responsibilities for this role are to ensure the efficient and effective operations of the Content Manager (Electronic Document Records Management) System. Demonstrate your skills and experience, using relevant examples to show how you effectively manage Content Manager.
**Essential requirements of the role**:
- Extensive experience in the administration of the Content Manager Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS).
- Understanding of NSW Government records management practices and standards.
- A proactive attitude towards work with the ability to take initiative in foreseeing and resolving potential challenges.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing demands, priories and deadlines within a high-pressure environment.
- High degree of accuracy and confidentiality when managing records.
- Strong written and oral communications skills with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment in dealing with a wide range of issues.
- Willingness to work across different MHNSW locations.

- To be eligible for an ongoing role in the NSW Public Sector you need to be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident. For temporary and casual roles, you need to hold a valid visa giving you permission to work in Australia as required by the role.
- A talent pool may be created for future ongoing and temporary roles and is valid for a period of up to 18 months.
