Electrical Supervisor and Build Supervisor Government Agency
Technical officer's Required for Government agency in Rockhampton, this role would suit a Construction Trade person or Works officer person looking to get off the tools and work in a more technical advisory role.
Responsibilities
* Liaising with Government Stakeholders regarding Government buildings, Schools, Hospitals etc
* Assign the correct priority to the breakdown
* Undertaking regular site inspections.
* Ensuring site meetings are held at regular intervals and conducted in accordance with a standardised procedure.
* Issuing Variation Orders.
* Assessing contractual claims.
* Processing Contractor's Requests for Information; and
* Ensuring Building Act Compliance inspections are undertaken, and appropriate records kept.
About you
* Intermediate level of MS Excel skills including being able to create spreadsheets to monitor construction tenders
* Experience in tendering and costing for the construction industry
* Demonstrated ability to communicate well with customers and in-house staff both written and verbal
