Our Finance team is growing, and we're on the lookout for a driven and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join the dynamic Finance team at MediAesthetics, a division of Wesfarmers Health, based in Adelaide.

A bit about the role:
As a Finance Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the Finance team with transaction processing, reconciliations, supplier management, and other vital accounting tasks. Working closely with the AP Team Leader and Finance Leadership Team, you will help ensure financial operations are accurate, timely, and compliant, while contributing to continuous process improvement across our systems.
This role provides exposure to end-to-end accounts payable and reconciliation activities, making it ideal for someone looking to grow their technical finance capability and career within a supportive, large-scale organisation.
Your responsibilities Accounts Payable & Transaction Processing
* Handle supplier setup and transaction processing
* Ensure accurate coding of approved invoices
* Conduct payment runs and bank uploads
* Assist with supplier statement reconciliations
Reconciliations & Financial Accuracy
* Perform bank and credit card statement reconciliations
* Reconcile Point of Sale (POS) records across clinic locations
* Collaborate on additional accounting duties as required
Systems & Process Improvement
* Support automation and process improvement initiatives
* Assist with finance system enhancements and upgrades
* Help streamline workflows to reduce manual effort
Compliance & Governance
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, GST, BAS, and company policies
* Support statutory reporting and regulatory obligations
* Uphold corporate governance standards in line with working for a public company
What you'll need to succeed:
* Previous experience in accounts payable and reconciliations is essential
* Knowledge of GST and BAS preparation/submission highly regarded
* Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Netsuite, SAP, Sage Intacct) and automated AP systems (e.g., Coupa, Webexpenses, Basware)
* Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management
* Proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving ability
* Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance are desirable but not essential
