About the Role Reporting to the Group Director of Shared Services and Director of HR Transactional Services, you will drive decisions regarding the management and operations of the Workers Compensation and Income Protection Teams. The role also makes decisions regarding the general function of the claims management for Income Protection and wage claims under Workers Compensation Legislation. Responsibilities Provide professional and strategic advice to the Directors on income protection, and workers compensation schemes and associated claims management Lead the service delivery of Workers Insurance in line with relevant legislation, awards, policy and scheme requirements to ensure all process and documentation are compliant Foster relations with key stakeholders to build effective working relationships Guide, support, coach and mentor team members Establish and monitor SLA's to ensure efficiency regarding insurance provider's reimbursements and determination of income protection schemes Provide advice and recommendations to senior management on policy and operational matters including the impact of changes in legislation, regulation and policy on the organisation and its stakeholders Consider and recommend improvements to procedures and processes Review claims and benefits from the insurers to ensure that they comply with Insurance Policies and Legislation About you Proven experience in the interpretation and compliance of Workers Compensation Legislation including the calculation of PAWE/PIAWE Experience providing strategic advice relation to workers insurance Demonstrated experience leading a team and maintaining strategic and operational stakeholder relationships Valid Baseline security clearances & willingness to undergo pre-employment checks How to Apply Please apply by submitting your resume (in Word format) via the "Apply Now" tab to be considered for the role.
