Overview
We are hiring for Key Accounts Manager - Network Solutions & Wireless for one of our premier clients in the global technology and consulting sector in Australia.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales opportunity creation across assigned accounts.
- Develop and execute sales strategies, leading account growth initiatives.
- Aim to achieve business and delivery targets in alignment with company objectives.
- Identify risks proactively and work with delivery teams to implement mitigation plans.
- Prepare tenders, proposals, and sales documents.
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle of existing Telecommunications accounts.
- Collaborate with Presales and Delivery teams during proposal negotiations.
- Develop and implement Key Account Plans for each client to drive sales and business development.
- Forecast short, medium, and long-term client requirements (resources, skills, investments, hardware/software).
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a single, reliable point of contact for assigned clients.
- Conduct weekly and monthly steering committee meetings with client stakeholders.
- Ensure client requirements are captured and delivered in a timely manner.
- Draft and support formal engagement proposals for prospective clients.
Chance Creation
- Research and gather information on prospective accounts aligned with company strategy.
- Conduct regular account reviews and recommend improvements based on business scenarios.
- Participate in internal account management reviews to monitor account health and performance.
Analysis
- Assess company’s positioning against competitors in various client scenarios.
- Leverage research, industry insights, and networks to provide competitive analysis.
Key Skills, Behaviours, and Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in Key Account Management within the Telecommunications industry.
- Strong knowledge of Mobile and Fixed Networks.
- Proven track record in managing large accounts and achieving sales targets.
- Dynamic leadership skills with the ability to influence and persuade.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex priorities under demanding timelines.
- Demonstrated success in leading support teams and delivering results.
