You'll have the autonomy to run day-to-day Sales operations with support from a small team and the Managing Director. This is a genuine, hands-on career opportunity where you'll make an impact every day.
Your New Role (starting January 2026)
Reporting directly to the NSW-based Managing Director, you will be the key person on the ground in Queensland—leading sales operations, supporting a small team, and operations administration.
Key Responsibilities include;
Sales Leadership & Client Relations (60%)
* Managing & supporting 3 team members (2 office staff + 1 external sales rep)
* Coordinating daily activities and ensuring team productivity
* Providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
* Fostering a positive, collaborative Sales team culture
* Managing relationships with existing builder, roofer, and architect clients
* Driving new business with Architects, Resellers & Builders including Reece, Mitre 10, Hardware & General etc to support the expansion of the reseller distribution network
* Reviewing brochures, pricing policy and pricelists
* Liaising with Sales & internal teams to sales enquiries, orders, payment and goods out are on time
* Ensuring sales enquiries (emails & calls) & web orders are processed and actioned within given timeframes
Operations & Administration (40%)
* Liaising with Factory Manager on production schedules and priorities
* Operations administration & providing updates & reports for the MD
* Ensuring smooth coordination between sales, warehouse, and factory
* Providing backup support when/ if required
About You
You have a mobile, hands-on management style, are seen as the "go-to" person with:
* Strong Sales Management experience—ideally in building products or similar
* Experience supporting sales, operations, and/or customer service functions
* Excellent communication skills and confidence working with trade clients
* Strong computer skills (order management systems, Word, Excel)
* Ability to manage competing priorities independently
* Current driver's licence
