Backed by private equity and entering an aggressive national growth phase, RPLE is now seeking a Head of National Sales to own and drive the commercial engine of the business. Role Description
The Head of National Sales will build and lead a high-performance national sales team, personally win significant accounts, and establish the commercial discipline, structure and cadence required to take RPLE to its next level. This role is for someone who knows the machinery sales - who understands that selling a capital equipment installation to a hospitality group, an aged care operator or a coin laundry investor is a longer, more technical, more relationship-driven process than a product transact - and who thrives in that environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, structure and develop a national sales team across field, internal and territory functions - set KPIs, coach the sale, build a winning culture
* Drive new customer acquisition across coin-operated laundries, hospitality, aged care, student accommodation, mining and correctional facilities
* Personally close significant opportunities and set the benchmark for what great commercial selling looks like
* Own the full capital equipment sales cycle from site assessment and equipment specification through to installation handover
* Govern pipeline, forecasting and Board-level revenue reporting with accuracy and commercial authority
* Manage RPLE's most strategically significant accounts - national chains, hospitality groups, aged care operators and large institutional buyers
* Commercialise a significant aftermarket opportunity across spare parts, consumables and service contracts
* Build an after-sales care programme that turns equipment buyers into long-term advocates
* Senior sales leadership in capital equipment, machinery or technical/industrial products - you understand the consultative, longer-cycle sale and you're excellent at it
* Proven ability to build and develop a national or multi-territory sales team - performance, not just management
* A genuine hunter mentality backed by pipeline discipline, accurate forecasting and the ability to hold a team accountable
* Commercial sharpness - you can build a business case, structure a proposal and protect margin under pressure
* Background in one or more relevant sectors: commercial laundry, catering equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, vending, medical or industrial equipment supply
* CRM proficiency and a data-driven approach to pipeline management
* Willingness to travel nationally to personally drive and win significant opportunities
Highly regarded
Direct experience in commercial laundry equipment (OPL, coin-operated, Dexter or equivalent); an established network across laundromat investors, hospitality procurement or aged care operators; experience in a PE-backed or high-growth scale-up environment; and a track record contributing to Board-level reporting and commercial strategy.
