The Position:
* Assisting the Food & Beverage Manager with day-to-day operations across our outlets with the focus on the well renowned Garden Restaurant
* Assist in coordinating the front of house team's daily operations
* Lead the team to deliver exceptional, prompt and friendly service
* Lead from the front, mentor and train the team, ensuring a fun and energetic working environment
* Optimise team members rostered to increase revenue and productivity
* Address any guest feedback in a timely manner to ensure everyone has the best experience possible
* Consistently follow safety guidelines when performing tasks or using equipment reporting all hazards, near misses or accidents to appropriate personnel
The Person:
* Demonstrated previous experience in a similar restaurant/retail environment
* Experienced as a Host in a similar environment
* Experience leading a team, identify opportunities for improvement, train and develop staff
* Good knowledge of Melbourne food and beverage scene
* Excellent communication skills, ability to confidently lead team briefing sessions with up to 12 team members
* Experience with an online booking system, ensuring table and coordinating guests
* Well-groomed and professional in appearance with attention to detail
* Strong work ethic and "can do" attitude
* Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
