We are a busy, well-established medical centre with 8 GPs, 4 nurses, 6 reception staff, and a number of visiting specialists. We’re proud of the welcoming, supportive environment we’ve built for both patients and staff, and we are now looking for a Practice Manager who will help us continue to thrive.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work alongside the practice owners to keep our centre running smoothly. You’ll be at the heart of our team – supporting staff, guiding day-to-day operations, and ensuring that both patients and clinicians experience the very best of what a medical practice can offer.
What You’ll Be Doing
Leading and supporting our reception and nursing teams with warmth and professionalism.
Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and a positive patient journey.
Managing Medicare, billing, compliance, and practice systems with confidence.
Helping our team grow through rostering, mentoring, and encouraging career development.
Working closely with doctors, nurses, reception staff, and visiting specialists to create a collaborative and supportive environment.
About You

You have solid knowledge of Medicare, compliance, and best practice standards.
You’re approachable, organised, and calm under pressure.
You value teamwork and enjoy working closely with staff and owners.
You have experience leading a team in a healthcare setting and understand the unique challenges of a busy medical centre.
