About the Role
As the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) \"PracticeOwner\", you will lead a dynamic team of project managers and subjectmatter experts to deliver comprehensive DEI initiatives. From needs analysisand stakeholder co-design to strategy development, legislative action planning,and continuous improvement, you will drive the entire lifecycle of DEI mission: to create an open and inclusive environment that builds adiverse, capable, and engaged workforce reflecting the community we serve.
Key Responsibilities
* ExpertAdvisor: Provide expert advice on government diversity policies, identify emerging issues, and create evidence-based position papers to guide senior executives.
* StrategicLeader: Design, implement, and refine DEI strategies, roadmaps, frameworks, and programs to meet government priorities and legislative requirements.
* GovernanceChampion: Establish good governance practices, track progress against action plans, and continuously strive for improvement.
* CollaborativePartner: Foster relationships with employee representative groups and public sector stakeholders to promote inclusion and celebrate diversity.
* ForumFacilitator: Serve as secretariat for DEI forums, leading meetings, co-design workshops and ensuring effective governance and decision‐making.
* InclusiveInnovator: Embed workplace adjustments to support flexibility, trust, and psychological safety, enabling our people to thrive.
* TeamCoach: Uplift the expertise and agile capability of your team to deliver high-quality, compliant advice, policies, and services.

To be successful in this role you will have:
* Experience leading and coaching a DEI team in a fast paced, agile project environment.
* Proven track record of delivering DEI strategy, programs and governance at scale
* Excellent stakeholder and change management skills in a dynamic global context
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, organisation development and employee experience or equivalent work experience.
