About the role
AACHWA is seeking an experienced and highly organised Project Manager to lead the next phase of Make it Real — a major social impact initiative now entering its seventh year. The project aims to disrupt the fake Aboriginal souvenir market by supporting WA Aboriginal art centres to develop authentic, culturally grounded products that reflect the stories and values of their communities.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is responsible for driving the execution of the master project plan, overseeing product development activities, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring all reporting, acquittals and funding requirements are met. You will work closely with the CEO, Finance Manager and project team, with the potential to recruit additional staff as the project evolves.
This is a hands‐on management role requiring confidence, strong advocacy skills, and the ability to navigate complex, multi‐stakeholder environments. The ideal candidate will bring experience in project management, product development, supply chain or merchandising, and a passion for supporting Aboriginal artists and art centres.
