We are currently seeking an ERP Project Manager to join our team. This is a 12-month maximum term full-time position based in any location in Australia.
Reporting to the Manager Finance the ERP Project Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the Group's ERP upgrade and implementation program across multiple entities. This role oversees the planning, execution, and delivery to plan and budget of three critical workstreams:
* Pronto ERP Upgrade – St Barbara Limited (Australia)
* Pronto ERP Upgrade – St Barbara Mining Group (Australia and Papua New Guinea)
* ERP Implementation – Atlantic Operations (migration from Sage to Pronto) (Canada)
The opportunity
* Leading the end‐to‐end delivery of the Group's ERP upgrade and implementation program across all three workstreams.
* Establishing and maintaining integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
* Defining and controlling project scope, ensuring alignment with agreed business outcomes and approved budgets.
* Maintaining consolidated RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management across all workstreams.
* Preparing and presenting project governance documentation, including Steering Committee packs, project status reports, and executive updates.
* Capturing business requirements, validating process gaps, and supporting process standardisation across the Group.
* Acting as the primary liaison between business users, implementation partners, and technical teams.
* Ensuring alignment of cross‐functional stakeholders including Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Operations and Human Resources.
* Developing and executing change management strategies to support adoption of new ERP processes and systems.
* Coordinating delivery of training, user documentation, communications, and readiness activities.
* Supporting the business through UAT, go‐live, and post‐implementation stabilisation.
* Overseeing data mapping, cleansing, migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.
* Ensuring integrity of financial, operational, and master data throughout transition phases.
* Supporting implementation of system controls, security roles, and audit‐compliant processes.
* Developing and managing testing frameworks including SIT, UAT, regression testing and cutover validation.
* Ensuring defects are logged, prioritised, resolved, and re‐tested within required timelines.
* Confirming readiness for deployment through structured go‐live and transition‐to‐operations processes.
* Tracking and reporting on progress, budget, scope, risks, and performance metrics for all workstreams.

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce or Information Technology.
* Proven experience managing complex ERP implementations and upgrades.
* Strong experience with ERP systems (Pronto experience highly desirable).
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-entity transformation projects.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including working with executive leadership.
* Experience managing ERP migrations from legacy systems.
* Excellent project management, planning, and risk management skills.
* Experience managing vendors, consultants, and cross-functional teams.
* ERP Implementations across multiple jurisdictions would be desirable.
