Scale Technician | Electrical & Instrumentation Apprenticeship Pathway
Belt Weighers & Metal Detectors Pty Ltd – Osborne Park WA
Looking for More Than Another Scale Technician Job?
If you've spent years servicing industrial scales, weighbridges, checkweighers, batching systems, or process weighing equipment and are looking for a new challenge, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
We are seeking an experienced Scale Technician to join our growing Western Australian business.
This role provides the opportunity to expand your skills into industrial instrumentation, conveyor weighing systems, and mining industry applications while working towards a Dual Trade Electrical & Instrumentation Apprenticeship.
Unlike a traditional apprenticeship, successful candidates will be offered a wage that reflects their existing skills, experience, and industry value.
Why Join Us?
We are a growing business, but we're deliberately keeping the brakes on growth to ensure we can properly support, train, and develop the right people.
Rather than chasing rapid expansion, our focus is on building a highly skilled team with the knowledge, tools, and support needed to be successful. We want our technicians to understand not just how to do the job, but why they are doing it, so they can confidently work independently and achieve great results for our customers.
We believe that when our people are successful, the business is successful. That's why we invest heavily in training, mentoring, and technical development.
For the right candidate, this role provides a genuine pathway to move beyond static weighing equipment and develop specialist skills in industrial weighing, instrumentation, conveyor systems, and mining applications while working towards an Electrical & Instrumentation qualification.
As your skills, capability, and contribution grow, so do the opportunities for increased responsibility, financial reward, and genuine job satisfaction.
