Anglicare (NSW South, West & ACT), is a not-for-profit organisation seeking applications for Casual Early Childhood Educators to join our Out of School Hours Program team at Franklin Early Learning, located on the campus of Franklin School.
Anglicare Early Years are leading providers of high-quality educational programs for young children. We deliver engaging education, holistic care and supportive service to children and families, particularly those most in need within our community. We couldn't do this without our team of dedicated, passionate Educators and Teachers who work together to achieve exceeding outcomes for children.

The Opportunity
As a Casual Educator within our Early Learning and/or Out of School Hours programs, you will play a key role in supporting our teams to deliver of high-quality educational play and leisure-based programs for school aged children (6-12 years). You will establish warm, nurturing relationships with each child and friendly, supportive relationships with their families while attending to children's learning and well-being.
This role is flexible, with morning and afternoon shifts available, as well as full day shifts during school holiday periods.
What's needed to succeed?
- No formal Early Childhood qualifications are required for working within our Out of School Hours program only, but people who do hold current Early Childhood qualifications are encouraged to apply
- Experience working with children and young people.
- A deep commitment to always ensuring children's safety and wellbeing.
- Knowledge of My Time, Our Place Framework, National Quality Standards and National Law.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High level of energy, enthusiasm, and creativity, with a passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Commitment to Anglicare's mission and values of integrity, inclusiveness, dignity and compassion.
- Current First Aid, CPR Asthma & Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain.
- A valid Working with Vulnerable People card (ACT)
