What you'll be doing
* Provide all grounds maintenance duties including mowing, pruning, hedge trimming, weeding, mulching, planting, and general garden care.
* Ensure all work is completed to a high standard
* Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and vehicles safely
* Report on progress, issues, and suggest improvements
* Pest and disease control
* Occasional work at other local sites as required
About You
You will be a mature, reliable and seasoned horticulturalist with exacting standards when it comes to your work. You enjoy working independently and have a consultative approach with your clients to ensure you always exceed expectations.
What you'll bring:
* Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens is essential
* 5+ years qualified experience in a similar role
* Ability to organise and prioritise your daily and seasonal tasks
* Sound practical experience with a variety of tools and equipment such as mowers, hedgers, whipper snippers, blowers, hand tools and petrol operated equipment
* Current driver's licence
* Willing to undertake a National Police Check
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
