**About the Role**
This role, reporting to the Head of Human Resources, is responsible for developing and implementing HR priorities and objectives. You will act as the connection between HR and business leaders, ensuring the focus is on delivering the best policies, practices, and systems for the organisation. As an HR manager, you will also coach business leaders within the regional centre to help the execution of change and strategy. The role has strong mentoring and support and is a great opportunity for a HR generalist to step into a manager role.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Build strong relationships and business partnerships on site
- Be the site representative when negotiating with union organisers or dealing with the dispute process
- Work closely with the recruitment team and the business to ensure effective processes are in place for building and implementing a successful talent management strategy
- Initiation and participation in projects to improve HR policies, procedures, organisational change, engagement and other areas
- Manage other HR activities including HR budget, annual review process and remuneration plans
- Oversee the induction and onboarding process on site
