This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rata'd to your contracted or ordinary working hours, these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.

Provide safe compassionate person centred care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team to achieve quality care outcomes for patients and clients.

Ivanhoe is a small, rural town in far west NSW, situated between the iconic Darling and Lachlan rivers. How To Apply
To be considered for this position, please address the selection criteria in your application as thoroughly as possible:
Current nursing/midwifery registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with postgraduate qualification in a relevant field or willingness to undertake.
Recent remote and Emergency Department clinical experience, including current Advanced Life Support Accreditation.
Demonstrated application of professional and ethical boundaries in a multi-disciplinary team.
Demonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualised person centred care.
Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and resolve conflicts.
Commitment to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and families to enhance health outcomes.
Evidence of participation in ongoing professional development and willingness to share expertise with colleagues.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.
