About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Curator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for curation of art projects, project management, and building relationships with artists and clients.
Responsibilities:
* Curation of art projects from initial proposal stage through to final curation.
* Project management of assigned art projects including artwork commissions, fabrication + installation, ensuring timely delivery.
* Contribution to proposals, EOIs, grants, art strategies + business opportunity outreach.
* Presentation documents creation to present to clients, including renders where required.
* Write-ups, maintenance manuals + artist statements review and preparation.
Requirements:
* 2+ years in the curatorial space within the fine arts or public art sector.
* Outstanding written + verbal communication skills, with a flair for relationship management.
* Passion for supporting artists.
* A creative eye + high-end aesthetic.
* Broad knowledge of current art markets and Australian artists.
