We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our passionate and skilled kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment whilst delivering food of the highest standard.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside our talented Executive Chef and our dedicated kitchen team. The successful candidate will gain valuable hands-on experience, contribute to maintaining high culinary standards during busy service periods, and develop their career across all aspects of the venue’s operations.
With a 4-days-on, 3-days-off schedule, this role also offers an excellent opportunity to achieve a healthy work-life balance.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a chef with the following skills and attributes:
- 2-3 years' experience in restaurants, pubs or hotels
- A genuine passion for food and experience across all kitchen sections
- Solid communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine, with experience using a wood-fired oven
- Reliable, punctual and available for late night shifts
- Strong attention to detail, well-presented and high standards of cleanliness — you will be working in an open kitchen
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
- A strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
