Area Asset Manager – Narrabeen, Sydney, Australia (Permanent)

Reporting to the Regional Asset Manager, this role represents an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in property and asset management in a complex, meaningful environment—one where your decisions contribute directly to safety, compliance, customer satisfaction, and the long-term success of our residential and community-based services.
Responsibilities
Optimising asset performance ensuring safety and quality compliance, and lifecycle cost performance based upon sound asset management principles, annual business planning and budget formulation
Implementing minor capital works, refurbishments, and maintenance strategies
Embedding sustainability and risk management into assets and their operations
Partnering with stakeholders to align built-form outcomes with resident and operational needs
Supporting the implementation of a forward-looking and market leading Asset Management Framework
Collaboration
You will work closely with Compliance, Maintenance, and Refurbishment teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality outcomes.
This is not just about maintaining assets—it\'s about enabling environments where residents and employees can thrive.
What we expect you to have
Significant and demonstrable experience in a building/facilities management role including project management
Knowledge of aged care maintenance operations and standards (advantageous but not essential)
High levels of communication, people and contractor management, influencing and negotiation skills
Experience with multiple trades, building and contractor risk, WHS, essential fire safety measures, mechanical, electrical and plumbing services
Experience coordinating contracted resources and emergency response
Australian work rights and a valid Australian driving licence
