Guest Service Agent – DoubleTree by Hilton Hobart

What You'll Be Doing
Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care.
Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.
Handle guest queries, requests, and feedback promptly and with a solutions-focused approach.
Maximise occupancy through upselling and promoting hotel services.
Maintain accurate payment handling and compliance with hotel policies.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure every guest enjoys a seamless stay.
Qualifications – External
What We're Looking For
A friendly, confident, and professional approach.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
The ability to stay calm and organised under pressure.
A passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
Experience in hospitality, tourism, or customer service (preferred, but not essential – we'll train you).
Additional Experience and Skills
Previous experience in a customer-focused industry.
Positive attitude and good communication skills.
Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
Excellent grooming standards.
Calm, efficient, and organized with great attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude when working with a Guest.
Professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service.
Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
Competent level of IT proficiency.
Previous experience in cash handling.
Front Office/Concierge experience in the hotel, leisure, and/or entertainment sectors.
Conflict resolution experience.
