TP Human Capital is partnering with a government client in Townsville to recruit an Administration Officer on a temporary 6-month contract. This role offers an attractive hourly rate of $44 to $46 plus super. As part of a dedicated team, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth operations across multiple functions within the division. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes in a dynamic environmentKey ResponsibilitiesSupport the team with administrative tasks such as service requests, work orders, procurement, scheduling, correspondence, analysis, and reporting.Prepare documents that align with organisational objectives and appropriately address the issue at hand.Maintain accurate records of decisions, actions, and resolutions in accordance with record-keeping standards.Optimise the workflow and performance of administrative processes.Provide cross-functional support across multiple work sites within the division, as required.Undertake additional duties as reasonably required.Key RequirementsQualifications equivalent to Certificate IV in Business or demonstrated minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar administrative role.Current C class driver’s licence.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general IT literacy.Experience using financial and administrative systems (e.g. CiAnywhere, CES, or equivalent).Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality administrative, secretariat, financial, and reporting support across multidisciplinary teams.Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt to a changing work environment.We take your privacy very seriously.
