Job Role
As a key member of our global team, we are seeking an Assistant Company Secretary to support the management of all company secretarial needs across multiple jurisdictions.
The role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative support to the Legal Counsel and Deputy Company Secretary.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with internal and external partners to achieve business objectives.
The Assistant Company Secretary will play a vital role in supporting the development and implementation of company secretarial strategies, working closely with regional teams and subsidiaries to ensure adherence to Group policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date company registers and books.
* Supporting audit processes and reviewing financial statements.
* Providing administrative support for board meetings and resolutions.
* Assisting with group projects, including dividends, capital reductions, incorporations, and dissolutions.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience using company books management platforms, such as GEMS or Diligent, and a good working knowledge of basic UK company secretarial issues and principles. They will also be skilled at coordinating and communicating clearly with local counsel on regional requirements.
