Job Description
We are currently managing the capital works programme of works for a large investor developer and are seeking a skilled client side construction project manager to lead the delivery of these works across the ACT.
* Experience delivering construction focused capital projects and navigating technical, commercial and contractual matters.
* The ability to develop, manage and deliver a pipeline of complex projects.
* Strong capability across the full project lifecycle including design management, procurement and construction delivery.
* Solid understanding of Australian Standard consultancy and construction contracts, standards and codes.
* Demonstrated ability to run projects with minimal oversight.
* Monitor schedules and follow up to ensure timely progression.
* Review consultant submissions and technical documentation.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field (desirable).
* A collaborative, solutions focused mindset with the confidence to advise, negotiate and influence at senior levels.
* Ability to mentor less experienced project managers.
* The ability to deliver complex projects while balancing risk, timelines, cost and stakeholder expectations.
* Demonstrated, significant working experience as Project Manager of the end-to-end project management including all phases from scope, design, construction with a focus on building infrastructure.
* MS Office suite, including MS Project.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communication skills.
