About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse or Midwife to take on a leadership role in our operating theatres. As the ANUM, you will play a key part in driving project initiatives, overseeing the management of equipment and consumables, and leading specialized projects.
You will work closely with the Advanced Nurse Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the theatre suite and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead, develop and foster a positive work culture that promotes patient-centered care, learning and development, safety and welfare of employees, acknowledges differences, and encourages creativity and innovation.
2. Inventory management of surgical instruments, implants and consumables.
3. Assist in special projects and quality improvement activities.
4. Assist the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager and Nurse/Midwife Educators to maintain a learning culture by being a resource person, encouraging reflection and professional development, and assisting others to maintain portfolios/records of learning.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
* Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
* Demonstrated competence in scrub/scout perioperative nursing practice in accordance with the relevant standards.
* Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
