2 x Positions Vacant: Window/Door Fabricator & Glazier
Window/Door Fabricator Position
Key Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience manufacturing premium aluminium window and door systems for residential and commercial projects.
* Strong understanding of fabrication techniques, tools and materials used in aluminium fabrication and glazing
* Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical plans
* High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-end finished products.
* Excellent problem-solving, time management and decision-making skills, with the ability to work autonomously and respond quickly on the floor.
* Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and take direction
* Comfortable in a fast-paced, agile environment where priorities can shift and everyone contributes as needed
* Strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
* Current and valid driver's licence
* Positive attitude, reliable work ethic and a willingness to learn and contribute
As a fabricator at Dee Glass, you will:
* Fabricate, assemble and prepare aluminium window and door systems according to detailed shop drawings and specifications
* Operate machinery, hand tools and other equipment safely and efficiently
* Work closely with the Production Manager and follow instructions to ensure workflow remains smooth and on schedule
* Perform quality control checks throughout the process to maintain Dee Glass's high standards
* Assist with packing, loading and organising products for delivery and installation
* Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised work area
* Follow WHS procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture
* Site deliveries and occasionally assist with installations if required
Glazier Position
Dee Glass is seeking an experienced qualified glazier who is familiar with all aspects within the industry. We require the successful applicant to be motivated, work well under pressure, reliable and most importantly, be a team player.
Daily jobs will include, but are not limited to:
All domestic glass replacements & repairs, measuring & quoting, placing orders, fabrication, splashback installations, shower screen Installations, new residential window replacements/installations and commercial shopfronts.
This position is full time and remuneration will depend on applicants experience and knowledge.
Skills Required:
- Previous glazing experience
- Good mathematical and literacy skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent communication, presentation and punctuality
- Manual drivers license
- Fit, enthusiastic and keen to be part of a progressive company
