**About the role**
Reporting to the Group Leader, IT Operations, Security and Infrastructure, you will work within a small dynamic team and be responsible for the provision of timely and efficient IT support services to the business on a national scale. The role will suit a service-orientated person who is composed, patient and is able to deal with multiple enquiries and issues, providing quick responses and accurate results.
**Duties**:
- Provide IT support services
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, servers, networks, printers, and scanners
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Provide technical support to the branch (this may be in person or over the phone)
- Keep inventory of all equipment, software, and license users.
- Test new technology and training users
- Active participation in the implementation of new IT solutions and services
**Skills & Experience**:
- Demonstrated Helpdesk experience
- Diploma in Information Technology is preferred
- Intermediate computer hardware and software installation skills
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Knowledge in the distribution and disposal of classified data/documents/devices
- Determining customer needs and establishing service solutions and forecasts
- Maintains a positive and optimistic attitude
- Communicates effectively and appropriately with others
