About the Position
The position requires strong leadership, technical skills, and excellent communication abilities. The candidate will lead the migration of records to a cloud-based platform and embed governance frameworks to support the organization's digital environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Information Management
o Develop and maintain information management policies and procedures aligned with national standards.
o Lead the classification of data and records based on sensitivity, business value, and security classification.
1. Records Migration and Governance
o Oversee the governance of information assets and implement controls to meet compliance requirements.
o Manage the migration of records and data to the cloud-based platform and ensure metadata integrity.
1. Training and Capacity Building
o Provide expert advice on retention and disposal authorities.
o Design and deliver training programs to build staff capability in information management and governance.
1. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
o Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure information management is embedded in enterprise systems.
o Monitor compliance with national regulations, particularly in relation to information security and access control.
Requirements
* Demonstrated knowledge of national standards for information management.
* Proven experience in data and records migration to a cloud-based platform.
