Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join their high-performing finance function on a permanent, full-time basis.
Please note: This role is open only to Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader, this permanent position sits within a close-knit and collaborative finance team that works closely together on a day-to-day basis. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely processing of receivables in a structured and fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing receipting and allocation of customer payments
* Performing bank and system reconciliations
* Investigating discrepancies and supporting timely resolution in partnership with internal stakeholders
* Preparing aged debtor reports and monthly statements
* Maintaining accurate records across financial systems
* Supporting month-end processes and general finance administration
* Ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
Your Profile
* Minimum 2 years' experience in Accounts Receivable
* Essential experience within Property Management or Real Estate
* A relevant TAFE qualification or higher in Accounting or Finance
* Strong understanding of double-entry accounting principles
* Experience using Xero (preferred) and strong Excel capability
* High attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume transactions
* Strong communication skills and a professional, stakeholder-focused approach
* A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a close team environment
* Experience in a regulated or service-based organisation (advantageous but not essential)
