Our work involves assessing and mitigating environmental risks, improving soil and water quality, managing waste and effluent, optimising irrigation and drainage systems, and supporting sustainable development.We are committed to delivering tailored, science-based solutions that drive productivity while maintaining environmental integrity.THE POSITIONWe are seeking a motivated consultant with expertise in both environmental and agricultural sectors.You will work closely with stakeholders to provide strategic advice and implement solutions that enhance sustainable land management and agricultural productivity while protecting natural resources.Your key responsibilities will include:conducting desktop and onsite environmental and agricultural assessments to identify any risks and opportunities;undertaking soil and/or water samplingand monitoring to facilitate those assessments;preparing written reports translating assessments into practical recommendations on sustainable and productive land management and farming practices;managing projects including associated administration duties and client relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery;supporting business development efforts, including networking and writing quotations and tender responses; andcontributing to internal knowledge-sharing and professional development initiatives, such as template and protocol enhancements.The role will be on an ongoing full-time or part-time basis (minimum of 24 hours per week), with a 6-month trial period.
There is flexibility to work out of Cadeema's Shepparton office and/or remotely, with occasional fieldwork across Victoria and New South Wales.
