Patience Bulk Haulage is a proudly family owned and operated bulk haulage transport company located in Geraldton, Western Australia. We are currently seeking qualified and suitably experienced Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanics, HD Diesel Mechanics, HD Fitters or Mechanical Tradespersons to join our team. This residential role is a permanent full-time day shift role typically working 50-55 hours per week working in a clean, well-equipped workshop. A competitive remuneration package including a company vehicle will be offered to the successful applicants. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals seeking stable full-time employment and where you can be home with your family every night.
This is not a FIFO, DIDO or Shift Work position and therefore you must reside in Geraldton, Western Australia or surrounding area.
The successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, supply a recent National Police clearance and traffic infringement history check.
Job Requirements:
Main duties:
* Service, repair and maintain fleet of late model Kenworth and Western Star prime movers
* Service, repair and maintain fleet of end and side tipper trailers, float trailers and dollies
* Service, repair and maintain earthmoving mobile plant and auxiliary equipment
Essentially you would have:
* Mechanical Trade Certificate
* A commitment to safety and safe work practices
* Self-motivation with an ability to work both in a team and independently
It would be desirable but not essential if you have:
* Knowledge and previous experience on Kenworth and Western Star prime movers, tipper trailers, dollies, and CAT earthmoving equipment
* Experience in a similar role
* HR, HC or MC Class Licence
* Forklift High Risk Work Licence
