Our Purpose: To every person, purpose; to every life, legacy. About the Role: As an experienced Residential Care Youth Worker, you will support young people who are facing complex life situations. You will provide them with a safe, stable, and nurturing environment, helping to develop the skills and resilience needed to lead healthy and productive lives. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the young people in your care feel safe, supported, and valued Foster positive relationships with young people, their families, and the community Assist in the development of social, emotional, and life skills Support young people in making healthy choices and accessing appropriate healthcare Work collaboratively with a therapeutic care team to implement tailored care plans Maintain a clean, safe, and structured home environment Manage daily tasks, including written and verbal reports, case notes, and documentation as required Mandatory Requirements: Relevant experience in Youth Work, Child Safety, or a related field Current Unrestricted Full Australian Driver’s Licence Minimum Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or equivalent (or actively working towards, with the commitment to complete within 12 months of your employment start date) Current First Aid and CPR certificates Availability for shift work including weekdays, weekends, and sleepovers as rostered Current Paid Blue Card Current Hope and Healing (we will assist you with this process) National Police Check (validity within 6 months) Ability to obtain a LCS check About You: We are seeking individuals who are passionate about working with vulnerable young people and helping them thrive.
