Your part in our Buderim Hospital team
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe, holistic nursing care to clients of all ages and cultural groups, including individuals and their families. The Registered Nurse practices independently and interdependently assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions, and the delegation to and the supervision of care provided by Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing and health care students (ANMC National Competency Standards for the Registered Nurse). In addition to this you will:
* Deliver exceptional person-centred care by working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team, applying exceptional communication and customer service skills
* Apply sound clinical practice which ensures a safe environment and promotes optimal patient health
* Effectively exchange information regarding patient responses to treatment and nursing care
* Demonstrate application of the principles of clinical and workplace risk management
* Achieve optimum patient care through effective collaboration with other health professionals and coordination of care
* Achieves optimal patient outcomes through appropriate allocation of staff and delegation of work and effective communication skills
What makes a difference for us?
* Bachelor of Nursing degree or equivalent and AHPRA registration, with a minimum of 12 months post-graduate experience within a surgical ward and/or acute care/hospital setting
* Full Australian Working Rights (please note, we are unable to provide sponsorship at this time)
* Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster, with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety practices.
* A commitment to patient safety and quality improvements and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
* Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements
