About the Role
Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is recognised as a leader in healthcare excellence and innovation, serving its local community, patients from across Australia and internationally.
The Waitlist Bookings Officer supports the management of elective surgery waitlist bookings for Cardiology at RPAH and its timely and accurate data submission in accordance with the Ministry of Health Elective Surgery Access policy. The position will perform administrative functions in collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to support the patient's pre-operative journey.

Ideal Candidate
* Knowledge of the MOH Elective Surgery Access policy and/or experience in hospital surgical waitlist practices such as the scheduling of surgical/diagnostic procedures.
* Experience in the use of hospital patient administration systems (PAS), electronic medical record (eMR) and Microsoft Office packages including the ability to accurately upload and update information on the eMR.
* Ability to liaise and consult with stakeholders in a multidisciplinary environment including AMOs, Heads of Department and Executive staff.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service and patient experience.
