We are looking for a chef to join our team- available shifts:
Monday to Friday 11.30am to 7.30pm,– onsite car park provided.
TWG is seeking an energetic & dynamic, hands-on chef to work as part of our great team at one of Melbourne's residential colleges & events venue located in Parkville
This position can be casual or fulltime........
We are looking for a chef who has a thorough understanding of allergens to prepare the meals for the residential students, experience with understanding allergens -- these include anaphylaxis and lifestyle choices. Food is to be creative, contemporary and enjoyable. We require production of fantastic food and a willingness to work in a positive team environment.
Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, you will work as part of the team catering for, Lunch & Dinner when required for residential university students along with assisting with functions and supervising working students.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Preparing contemporary, nutritious meals for tertiary residential students' day to day production of all kitchen requirements.
Ensuring only the very highest standards of food presentation & creativity
Adherence to Food safety Program
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Impeccable grooming standards
Strong knowledge of food handling and hygiene principles
The option of having school breaks off is a possibility,

A current Working with Children's check is a requirement for this position
