This long-term partnership will accelerate the delivery of cutting-edge vessels for the Australian Defence Force over the next decade and establish a lasting shipbuilding capability in the Henderson Defence Precinct.As a key member of our Human Resources (HR) team, youll be a trusted expert providing top-tier HR/IR advice that drives business success, helps build the team of the future, and collaborates with the Learning & Organisational Development team to embed our culture and readiness across the organization.This is your chance to be part of a truly significant national effort.What s InvolvedStakeholder Management: The primary point of contact for managers and employees, building strong relationships and providing trusted advice on all HR matters.Tailored Solutions: Proactively collaborate with managers to address people issues, offering bespoke solutions and case management support for grievances, disciplinary issues, and complex investigations.Strategic Collaboration: Work with managers and external partners to implement key HR strategies and cyclical activities, including performance reviews, succession planning, and workforce planning.Operational Support: Support the implementation of various HR programs, such as reward and recognition, employee development initiatives, and enterprise agreements.Policy and Compliance: Advise on the interpretation of relevant Acts, Regulations and internal policies, ensuring compliance and fairness in all people-related decisions.You ll NeedYou have a bachelors degree in human resources or a related field with at least five years of experience in a similar role. 
You possess extensive knowledge of employment and industrial relations law, along with experience developing and implementing HR-related policies and procedures. 
You also have strong coaching, interpersonal and organizational skills, and are highly experienced at conducting workplace investigations and resolving complex issues. 
Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation and influencing abilities, including high-level technical writing skills, are required.
