About Our Client And Their Business.
Our client is a tier one building services contractor that operates across HVAC, BMS, Security, and Fire.
Due to growth across their FM, government, and high rise portolfio, they are now seeking a lead estimator | pre-construction manager to join their senior management team.
The company has been operating for over 30 + years and has extensive networks within the government, defence, FM, retail, commercial construction, and data centre sectors.
Known for their design & construct capability and collaborative approach, they are continuing to secure a strong pipeline of work and are now looking to add an experienced Lead Estimator or Manager to their team.
What Your Day Looks Like
Prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical services projects up to $20m.Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to scope project requirements.Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.Collaborate with the design and project delivery teams on D&C projects.Contribute to bid submissions, proposals, and handovers to project teams.
About you:
Around 5 years of estimating experience within the Australian HVAC/mechanical industry.Proven background working on design & construct (D&C) projects.Strong negotiation and communication skills with suppliers and subcontractors.Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively.Strong technical and commercial acumen with excellent attention to detail
