About the role
Kaefer Integrated Services Pty Ltd are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Perth, WA on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the successful delivery of construction projects by providing expert quantity surveying and cost management expertise.
What you'll be doing
* Lead project cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across the full project lifecycle
* Oversee progress tracking, productivity analysis, and resource utilisation to drive performance and efficiency
* Manage cost systems, coding structures, and ensure alignment with project budgets and client requirements
* Analyse scope changes and commercial impacts, implementing adjustments to cost, schedule, and forecasts
* Prepare and manage progress claims, variations, and supporting commercial documentation
* Identify project risks, delays, and cost exposures, supporting mitigation strategies and recovery plans (including EOT claims)
* Collaborate with planning, operations, and stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and informed decision‐making
What we're looking for
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or Engineering
* Demonstrated experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
* Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes and cost control
* Excellent analytical, problem‐solving and decision‐making skills
* Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and MS Office suite
* Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative project team
