About The Role
Reporting to the Education Manager – Engineering, the Teacher Locksmithing is responsible for planning, delivering and assessing vocational education programs across a range of learning environments. You will support students throughout the learning lifecycle, contribute to curriculum development, and ensure training delivery meets regulatory, quality and compliance standards.
This role suits a qualified locksmithing professional who is passionate about teaching, learner engagement and maintaining strong industry connections.
What You'll Do
* Plan, deliver and assess locksmithing programmes aligned to accredited training packages
* Create inclusive, safe and engaging learning environments that support diverse learners
* Support student progress, wellbeing and engagement, including learning plans where required
* Develop and maintain high‑quality teaching, assessment and learning resources
* Maintain accurate training, assessment and compliance records
* Participate in validation, moderation and continuous improvement activities
* Maintain vocational and teaching currency and contribute to industry engagement

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the qualification requirements under the Victorian TAFE Teaching Staff Agreement and relevant regulatory standards.
This Includes
* Relevant vocational qualifications and current industry experience in the discipline area, and
* One of the following:
o Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40116), or
o A Diploma or higher qualification in Adult Education or Vocational Education and Training
Applicants who hold secondary teaching qualifications with relevant VET skill sets are also encouraged to apply.

Appointment to this position is subject to the successful completion of all mandatory employment checks.
