We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to lead and support our people strategy across the Jo Mercer and Wittner brands. Working between 2 offices with your direct report, this is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is passionate about building strong teams and driving organisational performance. Key Responsibilities Partner with senior leadership to deliver strategic HR initiatives aligned with business goals. Award interpretation experience is essential- preferably the General Retail Industry Award. Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, and workplace policies. Manage and optimise HR systems, with a strong focus on Employment Hero. Lead learning and development initiatives to enhance team capability. Ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practice HR standards. Drive employee engagement, culture, and retention strategies. Manage pre and post payroll in collaboration with outsourced provider (via Employment Hero). Previous experience managing a direct report or small teams. About You Proven experience in a HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor role, ideally within retail or a multi-site environment. Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with Employment Hero (essential). Solid understanding of Australian employment law and HR best practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels. Highly organised, adaptable, and solutions-focused. Comfortable working in a fully office-based role, 5 days per week.
